The Burns dog food range was developed by John Burns, a veterinary surgeon who had problems recommending a dog food that contained no additives. It was possibly the first dog food to be developed free of artificial preservatives, colourings and flavourings.
All food from the Burns range contains brown rice, fish, oats, peas, fish oil, sunflower oil, seaweed minerals and vitamins. There is no wheat or soya, and only controlled amounts of protein and fat in all Burns dog food products. These foods are highly digestible, economical and tasty.
Burns dog food will help maintain a healthy immune system, coat and skin, digestive tract, skeletal, respiratory and nervous system. It can also be used where holistic veterinary treatment is being used.
